Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a full-time permanent role. The position involves servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and using diagnostic equipment to identify issues.

The successful candidate will perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance, identify defects, and carry out necessary repairs with a focus on quality and safety in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV maintenance.
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
