Hartshorne Group in Burton is recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles to Volvo standards. You will ensure all documentation is completed accurately, including repair orders, service reports, and production cards.

• Qualifications required: City & Guilds/BTEC/IMI or equivalent in motor vehicle management; HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs to Volvo standards.
• Accurate completion of repair orders, service reports and production cards.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and work under pressure.

The Role

Join our team as a skilled HGV Technician, where you’ll be responsible for fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with Volvo’s high standards. You’ll ensure all documentation is completed accurately, including repair orders, service reports, and production cards. We are looking for individuals who thrive under pressure and actively seeks solutions to technical challenges. Strong verbal communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service are essential.

Shift Pattern

• Alternate weeks:
• Week One: 06.00am until 14.30pm
• Week Two: 14:00pm until 22.30pm
• Alternate Saturday mornings
• Call out rota may be required

Requirements

Qualifications required City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management (or equivalent) or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry (or similar environment). HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
