You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining HGVs and LGVs to industry standards in a Monday to Friday shift pattern, with salaries ranging from £43,000 to £53,000. Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence; HGV Class 1 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and LGVs to DVSA/manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Perform scheduled inspections and complete accurate maintenance records.

Join a skilled commercial vehicle team in Avonmouth, Bristol as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician. You'll keep fleets moving with high‑quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs—on a Monday‑Friday early/late pattern—with overtime and manufacturer‑led training to progress your career.

The role — HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and LGVs to DVSA/manufacturer standards
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Perform scheduled inspections and complete accurate maintenance records
• Support workshop productivity while maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Keep skills current with technical training and product updates

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Truck Mechanic
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostics and problem‑solving skills; reliable and professional approach
• Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 advantageous)

Pay, hours & type

Salary: £43,(Apply online only)-£53,(Apply online only) per annum

Hours: Monday‑Friday, early/late shifts — 06:00‑14:00 / 14:00‑22:00
