Tru Talent in Andover is seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join a professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles. You will perform servicing, diagnostics, MOT prep, and ensure safety and roadworthiness, with access to ongoing training and development.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, a full UK licence, and prior experience in a dealership or fleet environment.

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Experience as an HGV technician/mechanic in a dealership or fleet environment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and inspection work.
• Ensure work meets health and safety standards and complete service documentation.
• Work effectively as part of a workshop team and respond to call outs on rota.

Hours: Monday-Friday, Perm Earlies (8am - 4:30pm)

Pay: £20-£23 per hour

We're recruiting for an experiencedHGV Technician /HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join a professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles. You'll be responsible for keeping vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy, with access to ongoing training and development.

The HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Complete MOT preparation and inspection work
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and health and safety standards
• Complete accurate job cards and service documentation
• Work effectively as part of a workshop team
• Respond to call outs when on rota

About You

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
• Good attention to detail and quality focus
• Full UK driving licence
• HGV licence is desirable
• Experience in a dealership or fleet environment
