Job summary

Adler and Allan in Doncaster is seeking a reliable HGV Tanker Driver to join our Forecourt Services team. This permanent, full-time role involves working from Brize Norton with 3-4 nights out a week, Monday to Friday, and a competitive salary with enhanced overtime.

You will operate as part of a two-person team, perform tankering, jetting and drainage tasks, handle call-outs and complete all paperwork. We offer training, pension, life cover, health plan, and generous leave.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond to call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out near-miss & potential incident reporting; in-house training will be provided.
• Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment and PPE are in good order.
• Complete all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and opportunities for improvements.
• Assist with other duties as qualified.

HGV Tanker Driver

Operating from Doncaster, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with the EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
