Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd in Doncaster is seeking an HGV Tanker Driver to join our Site Services team. This permanent, full-time role involves operating as part of a two-person crew to service forecourts and distribution centres, performing jetting, drain cleaning and tanker operations.

You will contribute to ensuring compliance with EA guidelines, liaise with customers on-site, maintain equipment and complete paperwork promptly.

Qualifications

• HGV driver with tanker experience preferred.
• Teamwork to operate with a two-person crew.
• Ability to perform manual drainage and tank system tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform site tankering works including jetting and drain cleaning at petrol stations and distribution centres.
• Respond to call outs for critical issues and complete required paperwork.
• Liaise with customers on site and discuss ongoing works and future services.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in good order and report any damage.

Operating from Doncaster, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with the EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
