Job summary

Adecco is hiring a HGV Refuse Collection Driver to join a team of valued key workers. With pre-planned routes and set start and finish times, the role offers a fantastic work-life balance and predictable daily routine.

You'll carry out daily collections, use in-cab tech, complete real-time paperwork, and maintain vehicles and customer relations. The position typically runs Monday to Friday with potential overtime and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with up to 6 points.
• Driver CPC awarded.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily according to route plan.
• Undertake all duties using safe lifting and handling techniques.
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use.
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations.
