Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a refuse and recycling driver to join our client’s operations in Greater London. You will carry out daily collections on a 4-day pattern, with temp to perm opportunities. Clean driving record and CPC required; duties include operating machinery, recording paperwork, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

You will work Mon-Thu 07:00-15:30 and Friday 07:00-14:30, with ad hoc shifts. Prior experience in waste collection is desirable; training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and willing to undertake tasks

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily
• Deploy safe lifting and handling techniques
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations
