Job summary

Adecco is seeking a HGV Class 2 driver for refuse and recycling collections in London. The role operates Mon-Thu 06:00-14:30 and Fri 06:00-13:30 with ad hoc shifts. Temp to perm opportunities available and you will work as part of a team to meet service level agreements.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, safe lifting, in-cab tech usage, paperwork in real time, and maintaining customer relations. A valid Class 2 licence with CPC is required along with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to assist team to complete route within SLA

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily
• Deploy safe lifting and handling techniques
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles
