Veolia is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to repair and maintain a fleet of heavy goods vehicles from our Solihull workshop. You will perform inspections, PPMs, fault finding, and repairs, including hydraulic and electrical work, with some off-site breakdowns.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 in HGV Motor Mechanics and a strong safety mindset. Desirable qualifications include IRTE, HGV licence, and related qualifications. Training and progression opportunities are offered.
£19.66 per hour
Overtime after 45 hours will be paid at £24.58ph
Occasional Sundays or Bank Holidays will be paid at £29.49ph

45 hours per week - alternative shift pattern
Week 1 : 06:00 - 15:30
Week 2 : 07:30 - 17:00
Plus alternative Saturdays 7am - 12pm paid at £24.58ph

This facility is one of the largest livestock bedding suppliers in the country with over 40 years of experience in producing and supplying a range of high-quality animal bedding.
You will be working alongside other technicians to repair and maintain a fleet of HGVs and trailers, working out of the vehicle maintenance workshop.
