Veolia in Dewsbury is seeking a proactive HGV Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will diagnose faults, service and repair refuse collection vehicles, and ensure safety, compliance and high customer satisfaction across our UK operations.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance, strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently with flexible hours, including overtime.
Salary: £45,015.99 per annum broken down as £21.64 p/h, 40 hours per week
Plus the following allowances
+ £0.50p/h HGV licence bonus
8.33% average overtime rate holiday pay
x1.25 overtime rate
x2 Sundays rate
x2 Bank Holiday working, day in lieu
Standby payment of £16 per night for being on call
Callout payment of £30 if you are on call and get called out to repair a vehicle
Sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000
Refer a Technician to us and earn £1,000
