Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team covering the Swadlincote and Burton areas. You’ll drive a rear-steer vehicle through local residential streets, working with loaders to collect household waste and recycling. The role is temporary with immediate starts.

Hours are 06:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday, weekends off. An hourly rate of £18.00 applies, and candidates should hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, a Digital Tachograph card, and have no more than 6

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Possess a valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Hold a valid CPC qualification.

Responsibilities

• Drive a rear-steer HGV Class 2 through local residential streets.
• Work closely with loaders to collect household waste and recycling.
• Occasionally assist loaders as required.
• Ensure safe and compliant driving at all times.

We’re offering immediate starts for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team covering the Swadlincote and Burton areas.

In this role, you’ll drive a rear-steer vehicle through local residential streets, working closely with a team of loaders to collect household waste and recycling. While your main responsibility will be driving, please note that you may occasionally be required to assist loaders as needed.

Duration: Ongoing work available with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: These positions will pay £18.00 per hour.

Working Hours: You will be working through Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30 with weekends off.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

-Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
