Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver for a full-time temporary position based in the Melton Mowbray area. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle on a Leicestershire route with a loaders team, starting at 6:30am for about 10 hours per day.

The role offers a minimal handball requirement and no evening/weekend shifts. Paid £16.50 per hour, with up to 28 days of annual leave; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 2 UK driving licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card are required.
• At least 1 year of UK Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle along a Leicestershire route with a team of loaders.
• Occasionally assist with loading; handball to be minimal.
• Shift starts at 6:30am, lasting around 10 hours daily; evenings and weekends off.

HGV Class 2 refuse drivers required to work for client based in the Melton Mowbray area. The company is one of the UK’s largest waste recycling operations; in both the commercial and residential sectors.

The role itself will require you to follow a route in the Leicestershire area, in a Class 2 vehicle with a team of loaders.

Due to the nature of the work, you may be required to occasionally assist with loading; however, handball will be minimal.

Duration: This is a full time, on-going role.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this role will be £16.50 per hour. You may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.We do not offer visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: This role is starting at 6.30am daily and for around a 10-hour day
