Job summary

Riverridge is seeking full-time HGV Drivers (Cat C) for our Duncrue Street site in Belfast. You will perform multi-drop deliveries and occasional container moves across Northern Ireland. PM shift from 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota schedule.

You will ensure safety, conduct vehicle checks, and maintain excellent customer service in line with RiverRidge standards. A valid HGV Cat C licence, Tachograph card, CPC, and UK licence with up to six penalty points are required, along

Responsibilities

• Complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout NI.
• Follow driver hours rules and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles.
• Complete vehicle checks and report defects.
• Wear PPE and adhere to Health & Safety standards.
• Work with transport team to maintain and improve service.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold RiverRidge brand.

Job description

We are currently looking for full time HGV Drivers (C) to join our busy teams at our site in Duncrue Street, Belfast. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout NI. The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required.

As a PM shift Drivers, you will start at 4:30pm based from Duncrue site, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required, on a rota basis.

• Ensure excellent customer service skills that support the RiverRidge Brand
• Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
• Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally)
• Follow all regulations relating to driver’s hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles
• Working collaboratively with the transport team to ensure excellent operational service is maintained, and continually improved
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Undertake all necessary training, & cooperate with the security clearance process as required
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department
• Must hold a valid HGV licence – Category ‘C’,
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC
• Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points)
• Basic disclosure checks i.e., Access NI, will be required and should be maintained
• Ability to undertake manual work
• Flexible approach to working hours is required in relation to finish times, weekends, and bank holidays

• Minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience
• Previous experience working in the waste industry
