Job summary

Driver Hire Belfast is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Carryduff. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle on scheduled waste collection routes, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure safe, professional service for customers.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm (45 hours per week). A valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card are essential, with ADR desirable for progression.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Experience driving large goods vehicles is essential.
• Good understanding of road transport and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle on scheduled collection routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Safely load, transport, and unload waste materials.
• Complete route paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Follow all transport, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
• Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers.

We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Carryduff. The successful candidates will be responsible for completing waste collection routes, carrying out vehicle checks, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standards.
