Job summary

Driver Hire Gatwick are actively seeking experienced and newly qualified HGV drivers for local companies in the West Sussex area. Shifts run 1–3 days per week, with starts between 05:00 and 08:00, Monday to Saturday.

You may deliver varied loads from pallets to building materials, depending on the booking. Applicants must hold a valid licence, CPC card and Tacho card, have no more than 6 points, and provide own transport to Crawley.

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid driving license, CPC card and Tacho card.
• Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.
• No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions.
• PPE Hi-Viz and Safety boots.
• Would need own transport to get to and from the workplace.
• Living within 15 miles of Crawley.

Job Description

Are you looking to top up your income or just looking to work 1-3 days per week? Then this position is for you. Depending what company you are booked with, you may be delivering a range of products from pallets, plumbing and pipes to electrical and bricks. We've got shifts available from Monday to Saturday starting between 05:00 am and 08:00 am

What you need

• You must hold a valid driving license, CPC card and Tacho card


• Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.


• No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)


• PPE Hi-Viz and Safety boots


• Would need own transport to get to and from the workplace.


• Living within 15 miles of Crawley.
