Pertemps Stoke on Trent is hiring HGV Class 1 Weekend Drivers to join a busy depot in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is weekend only with shifts lasting 10–12 hours.

Pay rates range from £21.44 to £24.57 per hour (PAYE). You will handle loading/unloading parcels and operate single or double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling.

Applicants need a minimum of 1 year HGV Class 1 experience, a C+E licence, CPC card, and a digital tachograph card, plus no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months.
• Valid C+E licence, CPC card and digital tachograph card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.

Responsabilités

• Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels.
• Working with single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved.
• Average 10 - 12 hour shifts.
• Various start times as this is a 24-hour operation.
• Week days are available but must be able to also work over the weekend.

What we’re looking for in a HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver:
