Qualifikationen

• Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points and no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
• Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation.
• UK Digital Tachograph Card.
• Right to work in the UK.
• English language skills for safety.
• Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test.
• 1 year driving experience preferred.
• Previous Amazon work experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Carry out trunking work as primary duty and cover tramping when required.
• Maintain all health and safety standards and safe handling of truck and trailers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and trailer checks for each pickup/drop-off.
• Arrive on time and inform the office of any issues.

HGV Class 1 Driver - Temporary Position

About the Job:

We are looking for a short term drivers who will primarily carry out trunking work, but it would be beneficial if candidate could also cover tramping.

You would have to:

• Maintain all health and safety standards
• Careful and safe handling of truck and trailers
• Flexibility required regarding start times
• Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
• Complete trailer checks for every pickup and drop off
• Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the office of any issues
• Use app for route navigation and to track deliveries
• Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
• Must have a professional attitude, be reliable, customer focused, safe and a team player
• Comply with all tachograph and WTD regulations
• Clean and look after your truck as if it was your own.

Your knowledge and experience:
