Job summary

TRCGroup in Preston is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for night shifts. The role involves moving palletised parcels, trunk runs to the hub, and maintaining accurate paperwork while representing the company professionally to customers.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with start times between 15:00 and 19:00. PAYE rates vary by time slots (£17.24–£17.75 daytime, £18.25 night). This is an ongoing position based in Preston, PR2.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights.

Shifts Schedule: Monday to Friday

Start Times: 15:00pm - 19:00pm starts

Pay Rates:

• Between 6am to 10pm - £17.24 per hour PAYE rising to £17.75 after 12 weeks
• Between 10pm - 6am - £18.25 per hour PAYE

Location: Preston, PR2
