Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Day Drivers for the Heysham area. Start times around 06:30AM. Pay £17.50 per hour with weekly pay and ongoing work for the right drivers.

Roles include general haulage, dock collections, curtainsider work, and load safety checks. Valid CE licence, CPC, tachograph card, and customer-service skills required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (CE) licence

• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good customer service skills
• Previous Class 1 driving experience

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 General Haulage duties and dock collections
• Operate Curtainsider work and ensure loads are strapped correctly
• Carry out walk around and safety checks
• Report any defects immediately to the Transport team

Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Day Drivers to assist our client in the Heysham area. Shift start times are 06:30AM. We are looking for experienced drivers with great people facing skills and who has a Health & Safety focused mindset. Ongoing work available for the right drivers.

The Role:

• Class 1 General Haulage
• Dock Collections
• Curtainsider work
• Carry out walk around & safety checks, ensuring correct method for strapping loads
• Reporting any defects immediately to the Transport team
