Motus Commercials - HGV Class 1 Driver

Motus Commercials is the largest DAF Trucks Dealer Group in Europe and the largest Independent Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group in the UK. We are seeking a fully skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our friendly team at our Derby dealership on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

Working Hours & Salary

Monday to Friday 6.00am - 3.30pm, Alternate Saturdays 6.00am - 11.00am

Other shifts can be discussed at interview

Salary – OTE £35,000

Role Requirements

As a Class 1 Driver in Derby, you should demonstrate:

• Essential experience as an HGV Class 1 driver
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• High level of customer service
• Knowledge of local area
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles
• Experience working in a workshop environment

Main Duties

• Providing thorough service to internal and external customers to ensure vehicles are back on the road swiftly
• Carrying out loaded brake tests to VOSA standards
• Collection and delivery of customer vehicles as required
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Organizing and maintaining truck parking, adhering to health and safety standards
• Respecting company property and property in their care
