Adler & Allan Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Driver (ADR or non-ADR) based in Airdrie. You will operate within a depot team, delivering site tankering and drainage works for major clients. The role involves manual tasks, paperwork, and customer liaison, with on-site training and benefits.

The position is permanent, full-time, offering a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits. You’ll contribute to safe operations and provide long-term solutions for our client sites across the Forecourt

Qualifications

• Experience driving HGV vehicles.
• ADR certification or readiness for ADR optional roles.
• Ability to work as part of a small team and complete paperwork accurately.

Responsabilités

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, including jetting and drain cleaning.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure equipment, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.

Operating from one of our Airdrie depot, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with the EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations, distribution centres and at large scale drainage infrastructure locations.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
