Job summary

Veolia in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Class 2 waste driver to join our team in Telford. You will collect and empty multiple commercial waste containers, input job data into the onboard system, and complete daily vehicle checks as part of a busy weekly schedule.

We require a valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence, up-to-date CPC, and a Digi/Tachograph card. You will work 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday rota on occasions, and earn an annual salary of £41,429.28 with Veolia

• HGV Class 2 licence (Cat C) required.
• CPC up-to-date required.
• Digi/Tachograph card required.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads.

Salary: £41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits - Paid weekly
£5.00 daily meal allowance, and Single person allowance - Earn an extra £41.16 daily when you complete over 110 bins

Hours: 48 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 4am starts
Required to work Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
