Job summary

Jack Richards & Son Ltd, based in Northwich, is looking for Day Drivers to join our thriving logistics team. Offering up to £49,100 salary plus SAFED Fuel Bonus, this role requires at least 12 months of Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience.

You will ensure vehicle compliance with legal standards, secure loads accurately, and follow safe driving instructions. Additional perks include enhanced rates, meal allowance, pension scheme, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

** You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card)**

Role involves:

• Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
• Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• 5/6 Days (Mon Start Day) : c. £49,100 + Bonus (see below)
• Mon to Fri Days (1 in 3 Sat): c. £48,000 + Bonus (see below)
