Job summary

Grant & Stone, part of IBMG, is hiring for an experienced HGV Driver at our Pinner branch. You will deliver building materials to trade and retail customers, perform daily vehicle checks, and help with loading/unloading while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role is full-time and permanent with overtime opportunities; steady, customer-facing work in a friendly, supportive team environment. Valid Class 2 licence is essential; HIAB is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• HIAB licence preferred but not essential.
• Experience driving HGV vehicles and delivering goods needed.
• Strong commitment to safe and responsible driving.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and professionally to customer sites.
• Carry out daily pre-use and post-use vehicle checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain vehicle records.
• Support loading and unloading of vehicles as required.
• Represent Grant & Stone professionally while on the road.

We're looking for a hardworking and reliable HGV Driverto join our busy branch in Pinner.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role involving outdoor work, building materials handling, and delivering excellent service to trade and retail customers.

What You'll Be Doing

As one of the faces of our Pinner Branch, you'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive their orders safely, efficiently and on time. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering building materials safely and professionally to customer sites.
• Carrying out daily pre-use and post-use vehicle checks.
• Ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate vehicle records.
• Supporting with the loading and unloading of vehicles where required.
• Representing Grant & Stone professionally while out on the road.

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys working as part of a team. We're looking for:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• A HIAB licence (preferred, but not essential).
• Previous experience driving HGV vehicles and delivering goods.
• A strong commitment to safe and responsible driving.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive, customer-focused approach.
• A reliable team player with excellent communication skills.

Working Hours

Week 1

• Monday to Friday: 7:15am – 5:15pm

Week 2

• Monday to Friday: 7:15am – 5:15pm
• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
