Job summary

Parker Building Supplies (Part of IBMG) in Eastbourne is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our delivery team. You will deliver building materials to trade and retail customers and represent the business professionally.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and tachograph card; forklift experience is a plus. Working hours are Mon-Fri with some Saturdays; pension, holidays, staff discounts, branded uniform, EAP, and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC/digital tachograph card.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Experience in yard with forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to trade and retail customers.
• Load and unload vehicles and complete vehicle checks and paperwork.
• Follow safety and compliance rules.

This is a hands‑on, customer-facing role involving outdoor work, building materials handling, and delivering excellent service to trade and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver materials safely and on time
• Load and unload vehicles
• Complete vehicle checks and paperwork
• Follow all safety and compliance rules

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• CPC and digital tachograph card
• Reliable and punctual

Working hours

Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 16:30pm
1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm
