Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the Birmingham area for multiple HGV Drivers. Class 1 and Class 2 are both eligible, with occasional Class 1 use.

Shifts run across Monday to Sunday with days and afternoons; drivers must be flexible with start times. Pay rates are Day £15.83 per hour PAYE and Night £16.33 per hour PAYE, in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Bulk multi-drop – typically 15/20 drops/collections.
• Load/unload using tail lift and pump truck.
• Be flexible with start times; days and nights across Mon–Sun.
• Role is Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle.

Shifts:

• Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times:

Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate:

• Day time £15.83 per hour PAYE
• Night Rates £16.33 per hour PAYE

The role:

• Bulk multi-drop - 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
