Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of a well-known client in the Runcorn area for multiple HGV driver roles. The positions allow Class 1 or 2 entitlement, with shifts across days and nights, and require flexibility with start times.

Drivers will handle 15–20 drops/collections, unloading and loading with tail lift and pump truck. Applicants should hold a valid UK driving licence with appropriate class, DCPC, Tachograph card, and have at least 6 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Bulk multi-drop with 15–20 drops/collections; load/unload roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Runcorn area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle

Shifts

Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times

Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate

• Day time £15.83 per hour PAYE
• Night Rates £16.33 per hour PAYE

The role

• Bulk multi-drop - 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
