Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in Bristol for HGV Class 2 weekend drivers. This is an ongoing role with potential for permanent placement.

You will securely move palletised parcels, manage runs with 4–5 stops, and may assist with loading using a tail lift and pump truck. A Full UK driving licence (Class 2), DCPC and Tachograph card are essential, with a safety-first mindset and strong communication.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Bristol area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Weekend Drivers to join the team.

Shift:

• HGV Class 2 Days - Friday & Saturday with potential for Sunday - start times between 05:00am - 07:15am

Pay Rate:

• Class 2 Days - £15.60 per hour PAYE

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
