Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Weekend Drivers to join our Crewe team. This ongoing role covers Saturdays and Sundays with early starts, paying £14.60 per hour PAYE.

You will move palletised parcels to couriers, handle 1–2 stops, assist with loading using tail lift and pump truck, and maintain accurate paperwork. A valid UK Class 2 licence, DCPC, Tachograph card, and clean licence are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence and understanding of WTD.

Responsibilities

• Move palletised parcels to couriers or collect from delivery units.
• Handle runs with 1-2 stops, ensuring safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck.

Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
