Job summary

Smart Solutions in Hartlepool advertises for HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle drivers to join a busy waste management team. You will collect commercial, general and food waste, working with a Loader and assisting with loading as needed to hit daily targets.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and digital tachograph card, with a minimum of one year experience. Early morning starts, full-time with potential permanent placement and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Class 2 (C) licence and CPC.
• Digital tachograph card and understanding of drivers' hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV).
• Complete scheduled collections of commercial, general and food waste.
• Assist with loading duties when required to help meet schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and defect reporting.
