Job summary

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our successful client, who specialises in Waste Management and transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday | 6.00 am till 3 pm. Duties include driving a Class 2 dustcart, collecting refuse, assisting with bin movement, and maintaining safety on the road.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in HGV Class 2 driving.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorry.
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week.
• Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins.
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins.
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely.
