People Solutions is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver for Hyde, Manchester. The role involves delivering to UK stores with a Monday–Friday pattern and a 07:00–17:00 window. Training is provided and a long-term opportunity with weekly pay is available.

Ideal candidates have at least 24 months of Category C experience, a valid UK driving licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. A professional, safety-minded approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles.
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• No major endorsement codes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Category C vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver 5–12 loads to UK stores daily.
• Ensure loads maintain correct temperature and are secured.
• Unload cages using tail lift.
• Deliver goods professionally and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.

HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver - Hyde, Manchester

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver to join our well-established client based in Hyde, Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, and long-term stability with a leading company in the industry.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £16.00 per hour
• Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Working hours between 07:00 and 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver, you will work:

• Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing between five and twelve deliveries to stores across the UK each day
• Ensuring loads are maintained at the correct temperature and secured throughout transit
• Safely unloading cages using a tail lift
• Delivering goods to stores in a professional and timely manner
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
• Complying with Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive, and UK road traffic legislation

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver, you will need:

• A minimum of 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
• A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsements)
• No major endorsement codes
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work

Training:

• First-day driving assessment
• Training provided where required
• Ongoing industry-related training and support throughout your assignment
• Previous multi-drop store delivery experience would be advantageous
• Experience within a retail distribution environment would be beneficial
• Experience operating tail lifts and completing temperature-controlled deliveries would be advantageous
