Job summary

Sydenhams is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver for multi-drop deliveries to residential and building sites around Frome. You will liaise with the branch team to keep delivery services running smoothly and professionally.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and a solid understanding of building materials. CPC and HIAB experience are valued, with opportunities to grow within the business.

Qualifications

• CPC is required to drive professionally.
• HGV Class 2 license is essential.
• HIAB/crane experience is preferred but not essential.
• Numerate and literate with basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-drop routes to residential sites and building sites around Frome.
• Liaise with branch team to ensure efficient delivery service.
• Represent Sydenhams professionally with customers on site.

The Role:

Our drivers are the face of our company and often serve as the first point of contact with our customers. The successful candidate will be working on multi-drop deliveries to residential and building sites in and around the Frome area, liaising with the team at the branch to ensure our delivery services run efficiently and effectively.

The key values and skills required when working as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver at our Builders Merchants are:

• Must have a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• HGV Class 2 (CAT C) license
• Experience with HIAB/Cranes is preferred but not essential
