Job summary

Opus People Solutions Ltd, on behalf of Coventry City Council, is recruiting HGV Drivers for a temporary 3-month assignment in Coventry. Qualifications

• HGV driving experience required.
• Knowledge of road safety and vehicle operation.
• Valid UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Drive and operate HGV vehicles for Waste Collection around Coventry City.
• Adhere to MORR Code and Highway Code guidelines.
• Follow training protocols for driving and reversing procedures.
• Be responsible for a crew collecting Commercial and Domestic waste.
• Collection of Bulky Items and general waste collections.
• Manage recycling and garden/food waste collections as part of daily duties.
