Job summary

Simple Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy Waste & Recycling operation in Oxford. If you're looking for steady work, weekly pay, strong weekend rates, and long‑term opportunities, this role offers guaranteed hours and immediate starts with a well‑established operation.

You'll drive and operate a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle, perform daily checks, and follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card.
• Minimum 90 days recent Class 2 driving experience.
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle.
• Residential and commercial waste collections.
• Working alongside loaders on planned routes.
• Daily vehicle checks and safe vehicle operation.
• Following transport and health & safety procedures.
