Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Class 2 Waste and Cleansing Driver for a 3-month temporary role in Eastcroft, Nottingham. You will operate HGV Class 2 vehicles, supervise a small crew, and ensure daily routes are completed with safety and customer service at the forefront.

Requirements include a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and knowledge of road safety. Induction on 3rd August is mandatory; hours are 2:00pm–10:00pm.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (HGV Class 2) Driving Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Knowledge of road traffic legislation and safe driving practices.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles.
• Experience supervising small teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and roadworthiness checks.
• Lead and support a small operational crew.
• Deliver environmental services efficiently and safely.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
