Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver for a permanent role in Knowsley. You will operate a Class 2 HIAB with remote-control hook, load and transport materials, and maintain daily vehicle checks.

The role starts at 07:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 8 hours per shift and no weekend work. Pay is £17.00 per hour PAYE, holidays paid separately. The agency acts on behalf of the client.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card valid.
• HIAB Hook licence/certification required.
• Previous hook experience with remote control is essential.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 HIAB vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Use a hook attachment with remote-control operation.
• Move and transport various materials and equipment securely.
• Handle containers, shipping parts, recycled metal and other industrial materials.
• Conduct daily vehicle and HIAB checks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and transport regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
