Job summary

Adecco is recruiting an HGV Driver for a temporary role in Oldbury. You will conduct daily refuse and recycling collections, assist loaders, and ensure routes are completed efficiently while maintaining safety and professionalism.

The position requires an HGV Class 2 licence with limited points, Driver CPC, and strong communication to support the community and public interactions. Various shift options are available.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Driver CPC certification is required.
• Willingness to assist loaders during rounds when needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily refuse and recycling collections with all machinery.
• Assist with refuse loading to complete routes on time.
• Maintain professional conduct and safe lifting techniques.
• Use in-cab tech and mobile devices to complete paperwork in real time.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle/machinery inspections.
• Keep machinery and vehicles clean and in good condition.
• Maintain strong customer relations with the public and road users.
