Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Northampton is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team delivering caged and wheeled dollies into distribution centers for Brewers.

You will work 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 00:00 and 04:00. We offer a salary of £44,500 per year, holiday entitlement, a workplace pension and access to our Hapi App discounts, plus career development opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC) required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Flexible and proactive approach.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Move and deliver customers’ products accurately and on time.
• Adhere to safe working practices to ensure safety of yourself and others.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Take ownership of delivery issues and escalate to the team when necessary.

At GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 Driver to join our team in Northampton for our customer, Brewers. You’ll be responsible for delivering caged and wheeled dollies into distribution centers.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week. Your working days will be Monday to Friday, starting between 00:00 and 04:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products
• Adhering to safe working practices, to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times
• Providing excellent face to face customer service at all times
• Taking ownership of any issues upon delivery escalating to the team when necessary

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Flexible and proactive approach
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
