Job summary

GXO Logistics in Northampton is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for a full-time, permanent role delivering caged and wheeled dollies to distribution centers. The position runs 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times between 00:00 and 04:00.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Flexible and proactive approach
• No endorsements (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99) with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products
• Adhering to safe working practices, to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times
• Providing excellent face to face customer service at all times
• Taking ownership of any issues upon delivery escalating to the team when necessary

At GXO Logistics, we're looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 Driver to join ourteam in Northampton for our customer, Brewers. You'll be responsible for delivering caged and wheeled dollies into distribution centers.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week. Your working days will be Monday to Friday, starting between 00:00 and 04:00.
