Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our delivery team at the Dunstable distribution centre (LU5 5TA). This full-time, permanent role offers 40.25 hours per week in a 4 on 4 off pattern, with start times between 02:00 and 07:00.

You will deliver safely and accurately, service retail clients, and complete paperwork. The salary is £36,024.42 per year, with fixed overtime rates, holiday pay and a workplace pension, and access to the Hapi App for

Qualifications

• A full valid UK Category Class 2 licence, with valid tachograph card and driver CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
• Previous experience in multidrop or store deliveries preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Good geographical knowledge; London driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely, and safe delivery of customer products, including multi-drop deliveries within agreed delivery windows.
• Deliver totes to retail locations, offload goods correctly, complete paperwork, and collect returns or waste.
• Follow all safe working practices, including securing loads to minimise damage and ensure safety.
• Provide excellent customer service, report vehicle defects to the Transport Office, and attend required training.

Here at GXO we are offering the opportunity for highly experienced Class 2 Lorry Drivers to join our delivery team out of our Dunstable distribution centre, LU5 5TA, for a large retail client.

You’ll be working on afull-time,permanentbasis, working 40.25 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Start times between 02:00 and 07:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Ensure accurate, timely, and safe delivery of customer products, including multi-drop deliveries within agreed delivery windows
• Delivering totes to retail locations, offload goods correctly, complete signed paperwork, and collect any agreed returns or waste
• Follow all safe working practices, including correctly securing loads to minimise damage and always ensure safety
• Provide excellent customer service, report vehicle defects to the Transport Office, and attend required training to fulfil the driver role effectively

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full valid UK CATEGORY Class 2 licence, with valid digital tachograph card and driver CPC
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Must have a good geographical knowledge, experience of driving in London is preferred
