Job summary

GXO Logistics in Mossend (ML1 4UY) is hiring a full-time HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will deliver goods to a range of retail customers, typically 4 or 5 drops per day, across a 48-hour week, with patterns across 4 to 5 days and flexible shifts to support work-life balance.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with category C entitlement, a Driver CPC, and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement and Driver CPC.
• Possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and accurately to a range of customers.
• Make 4–5 drops per day.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a change? Are you ready for the next challenge in your driving career? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 Driver to join our team in Mossend (ML1 4UY).

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be working an average of 48 hours per week, across 4 to 5 days from 7, delivering goods to a range of customers. We offer a flexible working pattern designed to support a healthy work-life balance. Due to operational and customer requirements, a degree of flexibility will be required, with various shift patterns available.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Accurately and safely deliver goods to various retail customers
• 4 or 5 drops per day
• Operating company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Be compliant with Driver's hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations
• Adhere to all GXO Health and Safety policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
