Job summary

QS Recruitment is actively seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy refuse and recycling operation in the UK. This temp role offers Monday to Friday work, early finishes and the potential to secure a permanent position.

You'll drive refuse collection vehicles around local areas and may assist with loading. Up to three loaders accompany you, ensuring safe, efficient rounds throughout ongoing temporary work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
• Must have a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must hold a valid Driver CPC Card.
• Ability to work in a small, professional team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Drive refuse collection vehicles for residential and commercial rounds.
• Assist with loading when required and support loaders to complete rounds.
• Maintain safety and efficiency across local areas during shifts.

Are you looking for steady Monday-to-Friday work, early finishes and regular Class 2 driving? We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy refuse and recycling operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent weekday work, with ongoing employment available and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

You’ll be driving refuse collection vehicles and carrying out residential and commercial waste and recycling collections across the local area.

You’ll work alongside a team of up to three loaders, helping to ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently. While driving is your main responsibility, you may also be required to assist with loading when needed, so a hands-on and flexible approach is important.

Duration: Ongoing, reliable work on a temp basis.
