Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our well-known client in Washington. You will drive, collect palletised parcels and provide excellent customer service on each delivery.

Shifts include Tuesday to Saturday or Thursday to Sunday, with extra hours available. Start times vary by shift, and loading/unloading is performed with a tail lift and pump truck. A valid UK Class 2 licence and DCPC are required along with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential.
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive regulations is expected.
• Willingness to complete a driving assessment during the recruitment process.
• Commitment to safety-first driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver palletised parcels on assigned routes.
• 4–5 stops per shift with accurate paperwork.
• Load/unload using tail lift and pump truck.
• Provide excellent customer service on each delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and timely.
