Job summary

Gi Group are seeking HGV Class 2 drivers in the United Kingdom to join one of the country's largest parcel delivery networks. The role involves driving safely, loading, transporting and delivering parcels to depots, hubs and customers across shifts starting early morning.

Shifts include 0300 starts from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. Rates are PAYE and include holiday pay. Experience with safe driving and appropriate licences is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Category C licence (Class 2)
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Able to use mobile IT equipment, follow reporting procedures, complete daily paperwork and electronic records accurately
• Knowledge of safe and legal HGV driving and working time rules

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vehicles in line with safety procedures and legal requirements
• Load, transport and deliver parcels to depots, hubs and customers
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily checks
• Complete daily paperwork and electronic logs accurately
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and customers
• Follow reporting procedures and company policies
