Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited is hiring multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers for a leading client in Washington, NE37. Roles include delivering and collecting palletised parcels with tail lift and pump truck handling, and completing paperwork accurately.

Shifts run Tue–Sat or Thu–Sun with early starts for days (4am–6am) and twilight starts (2pm). Ongoing position with potential permanent placement for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Good understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to complete a driving assessment.
• Good communication skills.
• Safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our well-known, industry-leading client based in Washington.

Pay Rates:

• Class 2 Days: £13.99 per hour, rising to £14.69 after 12 weeks
• Class 2 Twilights: £14.73 per hour, rising to £15.43 after 12 weeks

Shifts Available:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• Thursday to Sunday
• Extra shifts available during the week for those looking to pick up additional hours

Start Times:

• Days: 4am–6am starts
• Twilights: 2pm starts

Location: Washington, NE37

The Role:

• 4–5 stops per shift
