Job summary

Owens Group is seeking an enthusiastic HGV Class 2 multidrop driver for our Llangennech operation. You will work Monday to Friday day shifts on our modern fleet of trucks.

Based at our Llangennech site, you will deliver excellent customer service, follow tachograph and road regulations, perform pre-start checks, and complete paperwork. Ongoing training including Driver CPC updates is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with clean record.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC.
• Minimum 1 year Class 2 experience essential.
• ADR qualification for ADR roles (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to tachograph, driver and road regulations.
• Pre-start vehicle safety checks and cleanliness.
• Complete all legal and customer paperwork.
• Participate in induction training and CPC updates.

Job description

Owens Group are looking for an enthusiastic & conscientious HGV Class 2 multidrop driver for our Llangennech operation. Working on Mon – Fri day shifts.

£14.50 per hour (£15.50 per hour with relevant ADR qualification)

Additional hours/shifts will be available if required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A valid clean HGV Class 2 licence (minor points considered)
• A digital tachograph card and full CPC
• Minimum 1 years of driving Class 2 is essential to be considered for the role
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent customer service
• Driven Class 2 within the last 6 months
• Previous multidrop experience

The Role

Working for a fast paced family owned national company. Based at our Llangennech site, you will work a Mon – Fri on our modern fleet of new or nearly new trucks. You will be responsible for the following:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations
• Pre-start Vehicle safety checks and vehicle cleanliness
• Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork
• Excellent driving assessment and induction training programme with ongoing training opportunities including Driver CPC module updates

Experience & Qualifications

• Valid HGV C Driving Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver Qualification Card
• Valid ADR Qualification (for ADR positions - not essential)
