Job summary

Manpower UK Limited in Uxbridge is seeking an ADR Class 2 driver to join our client's team. The role offers competitive pay, a guaranteed 42.5 hours per week and overtime rates, with a London weighting bonus.

Training and PPE are provided, and the position is ongoing with site-based work. Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries to domestic and commercial customers, loading/unloading gas cylinders, and maintaining high HSE standards in a dynamic delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card and DCPC card.
• ADR licence in class 2 for packages.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Responsibilities

• Delivery to domestic/commercial customers and wholesalers.
• Multi-drop operation with ADR requirements.
• Follow H&S standards and client procedures.
• Loading/unloading of HGV and gas cylinders.
• Manual handling of gas cylinders.

Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service. (London weighting bonus of £7.75 per shift) - Ongoing position.

Flexible Shifts

Monday to Friday (Day shifts) with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 07:00am - 17:00pm Some overtime is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery to domestic/commercial customers and wholesale suppliers
• Multi-drop operation covered by ADR/CDG Regulations.
• Difficult and challenging delivery environment. Lots of minor roads, single lane carriageways, adverse weather conditions, physically arduous work
• Strong focus on H&S when driving and delivering
• Ever changing and dynamic delivery environment
• Monday to Friday shift pattern
• Potentially long and extended working hours (10 hours+ per day) during peak period
• Delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
• Loading / Unloading of HGV Vehicles with Gas cylinders
• Manual handling of Gas cylinders

Requirements

Details

• The role is due to start immediately and will be ongoing
• Lots of management and colleague support available
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
