Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd in Raunds (Wellingborough) is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for full-time, temporary-to-permanent roles at our Raunds depot. The role involves deliveries to NDCs/RDCs and trunking, with an immediate start after induction.

Shifts run Thursday to Monday starting at 3am. Day and night pay rates are listed, with on-site parking provided for staff. Applicants should have 6+ months Class 2 experience and a valid Digi & CPC card.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Class 2 driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK driving licence with Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC card; no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Immediate start for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Drive within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prep vehicles for delivery.
• Complete vehicle checks.
• Refuel vehicles.
• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain highest levels of customer service and ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

HGV 2 Driver - Raunds (Wellingborough)

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for full time temp to perm roles in our depot in Raunds (Wellingborough). The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.

Immediate starts for successful candidates after passing assessment and induction.

Shifts patterns available

• Thursday to Monday 3am start

Day pay rates:

• Monday - Friday £15.83 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.81)
• Saturday £17.81
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.75

Nights pay rates:

• Monday - Friday £18.09 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.35)
• Saturday £20.35
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.14

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
